Comprehensive Psychological/Neuropsychological Evaluations

Learning Disorders and ADHD Evaluations
All our available appointments for learning and attention concerns (e.g., dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia) have been booked and the waitlist is closed. Please check back in September 2024 for updates.
If you or anyone else suspects that your child may have a learning disability, you have the right to request an evaluation at no cost through your local school district.
According to Oregon special education procedures, you do not need to provide any documention of disability or diagnosis to the school before you request or consent to a 504 or special education evaluation. If the school district's policy requires a diagnosis of a health or mental health condition as part of their determination process, they are required to pay for it, even in the case they are considering eligiblity under the category of Other Health Impairment (OHI). Note that section 504 does not require a formal diagnosis to receive a plan/accommodations; however, if required by the school, it is expected that the school will conduct the evaluation at their own expense.
